30 Days of Design

This is the first design. It is the name of a friends business. They make home made dog treats. They are starting up pretty soon and getting ready to get a holiday selection ready for you. The dog treat in this logo was created by me using photoshop. The rest of it was designed in Illustrator. My inspiration that I had was my dog's, dog tag. Let me know what you think.

Day 2

Revelations Salon is a business that I know of and thought it would be neat to create a logo with there name. The "V" is inspired by hair folicals and strands of hair. I made one of the strands of hair flow downward to create the "S" for the word, "Salon." I wanted to keep it tones that you would normally find in hair. Let me know what you think.

Day 3

Ok, I know this isn't a business name but it is a mast head. I couldn't come up with a business name last night so I decided to make a mast head for my 30 Days of Design.

Day 4

This is a logo that I should have been working on several months ago. It is a small business where they make hand made lotions using all natural products. The owner really likes sunflowers so I thought it would give it that fresh natural look to the logo.

Day 5

I was learning a few new effects and this is what I came up with. I did this whole thing in photoshop. I am going through a retro kick I think.

Day 6

Here is a different view of the same type of techniques as the one above.

Day 7

Some other techniques I have been playing with in photoshop. Again, everything was created in photoshop in this image.

Day 8

Here is another exhibit ad. Again everything here was created in photoshop.

Day 9

I thought I would do a little DVD cover. This was just me messing around.

Day 10

I created this entirely in photoshop. I was just playing around with effects and thought that it turned out pretty neat.

Day 11

I decided it was time to create a new header for my blog. I created everything you see in photoshop except for my monogram, I created that in Illustrator.

New Work

I have 4 years of experience as a professional graphic designer. These are just a few of examples that I have of some of my latest work. I have experience in product design, advertising, sign design, logo (branding and Identity) design, sequential design, and much much more. I hope you enjoy the work that I have done as much as I enjoyed doing it. Please feel free to leave any comments about any of the work at the bottom of this post.

This is a logo I made for my own freelancing business that I have on the side. I wanted it to be modern but also have colors that represent me. I am swedish and so I thought it would be appropriate to include the swedish colors (Blue and Yellow)
Below is a logo design for a client for his farm equipment sales and rental business. He was looking for a brand and identity because he goes international. His only requirements were that the colors were red, white, and black.
This is a self portrait that I took. It has become my signature trade mark for my frelancing design and photography.

This is a logo I designed for a customer. The customer is a promoter for english and spanish music. To the right is the business card design I created with his logo.

Below is an invitation I did for a persons bridal shower. She wanted it to be simple but elegant and the main color to be a celery green.

This is an baby shower invite I did for someone. She said that she wanted it to be elegant and not have the typical pink for baby girl. Didn't want it to have pacifiers and rattles. She just wanted it to be simple and elegant.

I did some business cards for a client. I have changed the name and contact information of this person to conceal their identity. I also was the photographer for this shot.

This was for an event at my church. I designed the flyers that were handed out to everyone.
I designed this for a contest that Radio Head was putting on for their next cd album. Unfortunately they didn't choose mine. I wanted to create this to show what someone might feel like while suffering from amnesia. I think that someone suffering from amnesia would see the image in their mind and try to make sense of it but to the rest of the world it is just static or confusing.

Gift Card Concepts

This is a logo that I designed for a Haitian organization for an orphanage. I incorporated the placement of parents with a child by putting their silhouettes in the wings. The center (body of the butterfly) is the child with outstretched hands. A butterfly is a symbol of hope, symbolizing that the child is hopeful to have parents some day.
This is a masthead that I created for a magazine that I designed the layout for. I wanted it to symbolize the loudness of music because the magazine theme is how music effects the mind.
This is the cover of the Euphorial Magazine that I created.

This is the First book of a 3 children's book series I designed and illustrated. It is based on one of the seven deadly sins. This one is based on gluttony.

This is the 2nd children's book from the 3 book series I created.

This is the third of a three book series that I did for childrens books. They are based on 3 of the seven deadly sins. This one is base on lust.

This is a little flyer that I created when I was art director of the social board at school. It was just a little incentive to get people to the dance.

This is a book cover I designed for a clients book of compositions. It is now published and can be found in select music stores.

This is a flyer I did for a huge event that was going to be held at a church. It was expected to have a couple of thousand of people come. There were 1500 that ended up showing up. Huge Success.

This is an image that I created just for fun. Everything in this image was created by me in photoshop. The only photo is the one that I took of the apple. Everything else is hand rendered in photoshop.

Thank you for taking the time to view my latest work. Please leave a comment. It helps me out with my designs in the future.
